Swoop Daddy!

Get it?? Snoop... never mind :)
So I was really in the mood for a french this week, but i didn't want to do the basic blandness. Now I wouldn't consider this a "funky french" because it still has my natural nail color but just, kicked up a bit!

Blue glitter and green side swipe french with white dots along the blue. This was a really crap picture because I was trying to take it with my left hand (Other hand wasn't painted yet and I was running out of daylight) but at least you get the basic idea.

☻ Products Used
    ☺ Art Deco "Blue Glitter"
☺ Art Deco "Bright Green" (Not very "bright" to me..)
☺ OPI "Alpine Snow" as dots

Hope you like it!, Just a very simple design to satisfy my french desire. Sounds naughty ;)

Crackles & Suicidal Nails

Hey!!
Lately my nails have been freakin' committing suicide or something! The day after 4th of July, my thumbnail ripped off almost halfway down the nail bed! Finally been comfortable to put polish on it again. In this pic you can see I had to clip down my pointer because it had a tear (even though I tried to patch it) And to top it all off my other thumb had a tear so I had to patch that, looks terrible without polish. Ugh! But anyway, let's get to the design shall we?
I got inspiration for this design from DandyNails on YouTube. I would definitely check her out she is amazing!

Dusty pink base with blue crackle on half, dots on the other, and a dividing line of copper glitter. My crackle was being temper mental and didn't want to crack properly, probably because it was thick and gloppy. :P Does anyone know if using thinner in crackle will destroy the crackling effect because once those things get gloopy, it's all over!

☻ Products Used
☺ OPI "Confucius Says "Coral"" as base
☺ China Glaze "Crushed Candy" as crackle
☺ OPI "Alpine Snow" as dots
☺ Stripe Rite Copper Glitter as dividing line

I hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I did! New posts coming soon!

Marbling for the First Time

Hey hey hey!
This is my attempt at water marbling on my nails! It took a ton of research and video watching in order to have any clue on what to do. I know a lot of people have problems so if you want some awesome tutorials from the marbling queen herself, I direct you to a woman on YouTube with the user name SimpleLittlePleasures. She gives all the details and step by step on how to do awesome designs!
(Her channel)

Just random swirls and such, no real rhyme or reason. I had originally tried to take loose glitter and poor it over dots of clear top coat to give a cool effect, but that completely failed so I just coated it all in fine glitter.

☻ Products Used
    ☺ LA Colors "Black Velvet"
☺ Wet n' Wild Fastdry "SaGreena the Teenage Witch"
    ☺ OPI "Alpine Snow"
    ☺ LA Colors "Sassy Sparkle"

Extremely messy process, kind of difficult to get the hang of, but beautiful results and no complaints! Hope you like it and let me know in the comments if you tried water marbling and how it turned out for you!

Who Doesn't Love Cupcakes??

Hola chicas!
Today's art is courtesy of CutePolish from YouTube!
(Tutorial)
It is so adorable and I got a ton of compliments! Definitely easier than it looks.

French tips with polka dots and coated in glitter with cupcakes on the accents. Absolutely adorable (makes me hungry :)

☻ Products Used
☺ OPI "Alpine Snow" as cupcake frosting, french stripe and small dots
☺ Nicole by OPI "Rasberry Fizz" as accent base and french tip
☺ Sinful Colors "24/7" as french large dots
☺ CG NailSlicks "Sand Castle" as cupcake base
☺ Finger Paints "Bronze Sculpture" as cupcake base accents
☺ Wet n' Wild "Kaleidiscope" as glitter and cupcake frosting accents
☺ Claire's Scented Mini "Cherry" as the cherry

This design is definitely one of my favorites and be sure to check out CutePolish's tutorial! It didn't hurt that the cherry actually smelled like cherry :D Have a great day!!

This design is extremely simple to recreate! A product of a bored nail guru surrounded by polish :) I'm sure there are a ton of variations of this design but here it is anyway.
